Thematica visit for children – The sound of the invisible with Thiago Franco

27.12 – 27.12.25
Sat, 10:30 am – 12 pm and 3 pm – 4:30 pm

On December 27, there will be two thematic visits with Thiago Franco. Starting from the mediation space on the ground floor, the activity is aimed at children over five years old and their companions. Registration must be made at the mediation space, and participation is limited to fifteen children accompanied by their guardians. The events happen from 10:30 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 4:30 pm.

Does sound have color? Is silence invisible? What was the first sound you heard in your life? Is a heartbeat a drum? Do you need to slow down to hear silence? How long does it take to hear everything in space? This workshop invites children to silence their ears so they can listen to the exhibition with imagination and slowed-down listening. In addition to drawing inspiration from some of the curatorial themes such as time, space, calm, and silence, the workshop takes as its sound path the work catástrofe orquestra #1 (Ato I) (2024–25) by artist Antonio Társis and proposes the construction of a soundscape based on the works we will visit until we reach Társis’ work. This creative construction of the soundscape will take place in a playful way through a playful and imaginative proposal during the visit. The art educator will lead the group with a music box-sound box suitcase that will store the sounds proposed by the children during the meeting, who, at the end of the workshop, will listen to the silent song they were able to create together.
