Thematic visit – Poetics of displacement – Traveling exhibition Santos

On April 9, at 11 am, a thematic visit will be offered following the route Poetics of displacement. The route invites the public on a journey through the traveling exhibition at SESC Santos, which explores experiences of displacement across territories, cultures, and identities in the works of artists participating in the 36th Biennial. Through the intersection of different artistic languages, the itinerary seeks to explore how contemporary art can help us consider the creation of connections between territories, ways of life, and subjectivities in motion, taking as its starting point the works of Ming Smith, Akinbode Akinbiyi, Helena Uambembe, Josèfa Ntjam, and Manaura Clandestina.
