Presentation – Simon Njami

On September 6, the opening day of the 36th Bienal de São Paulo,from 10:30am to 12:30pm, a presentation will be given by Simon Njami at the Auditorium of the 3rd floor.

Simon Njami is a Paris-based independent curator, lecturer, art critic and novelist. Njami was the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Revue Noire, a journal of contemporary African and extra-occidental art. He co-curated the first African pavilion at the 52nd Venice Biennale in 2007. He is the president of the International Festival of Extraordinary Textiles (FITE). Member and spokesperson of the Finding Committee of documenta 16.
