DJ set – Luanda Baldijão

On October 4, there will be a DJ set by Luanda Baldijão. The event will take place from 5 to 7 pm at the Varanda Bienal, the outdoor area of the Pavilion.

Luanda Baldijão is a DJ and music researcher. She began her career in Barcelona and has since played at numerous parties, events, and festivals across Brazil and around the world. These include São Paulo’s street Carnival, SP Na Rua, Dekmantel Festival, Vídeo Brasil, Women Music Event, SIM São Paulo, International Short Film Festival, São Paulo International Film Festival, as well as guest DJ appearances at parties such as Viemos do Egito, Santo Forte, Pilantragi, and Macumbia, among many others. She hosts the program Balaio do Mundo, dedicated to global rhythms, broadcast on the online station Rádio Graviola. The program was a finalist for the Profissionais da Música Award in 2017 and has been running as a music podcast for 15 years. Alongside DJ Cecilia Yazarra, she co-hosts Fiebre en la Selva, a party dedicated to Black, Latin, and tropical rhythms. This itinerant event has taken place at venues such as Fatiado Discos, Sol y Sombra, and Prato do Dia, among many others.
