DJ set for children – Disco is a toy with DJ Carlu

On October 11, DJ Carlu will perform her DJ set for children Disco é brinquedo [Disco is a toy]. The event will take place from 5 pm to 7 pm at Varanda Bienal, outside the Pavilion.

Performing exclusively on vinyl, DJ Carlu presents a repertoire of children’s songs from different eras—from timeless classics to little-known discoveries—in a curated selection designed to stimulate children’s listening, movement, and curiosity. A public school teacher and researcher of children’s music, Carlu combines her pedagogical perspective with her experience as a DJ and record collector. The result is a DJ set that spans generations, brings children closer to vinyl culture, and values music as a language of learning, expression, and imagination.
