Tanka Fonta (Buea, 1966. Lives in Berlin) is a visual artist, poet, writer, composer, and philosopher. His work explores human consciousness, the psychology of perception, and the interrelation between thought, language, and visual phenomena. Fonta’s practice investigates the expressive and perceptual dimensions of thought, the ecologies of an evolving mind, and the mythopoetic narratives that shape human experience. He has exhibited at institutions such as Haus der Kulturen der Welt and SAVVY Contemporary, in Berlin, and Kunstverein Hannover.
This participation is supported by ifa – Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen, Santa Marcelina Cultura, and Cultura Artística.
