Circle discussion with Aline Baiana – Traveling exhibition Berlin

On September 12, as part of the opening of the 36th Bienal’s traveling exhibition in Berlin, a circle discussion with artist Aline Baiana and the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo team will take place at 2 pm at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt.

The conversation will address themes explored in her film, such as perspectives on progress and development models that contrast with the violence and environmental racism affecting traditional communities in exploited territories, as well as these communities’ struggle to maintain their ways of life and protect the local ecosystem.

Conjugations – Education offers activities inspired by playing, dancing, singing, games and storytelling, inviting the public to actively and playfully engage with the exhibition while deepening practices of humanity and valuing different ways of being and living together.
