Precious Okoyomon (1993, London. Lives in New York) is a conceptual artist and poet. Okoyomon’s practice explores the natural world, histories of migration and racialization, and the pleasures of everyday life, drawing on experiences within the queer community and the internet. The artist has held solo exhibitions at the Museum Für Moderne Kunst (Frankfurt) and Performance Space New York, and participated in the 59th and 60th Venice Biennales, the Belgrade Biennale, the Okayama Art Summit, and the Thailand Biennale. Okoyomon’s work has been shown at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), Schinkel Pavillon (Berlin), and LUMA Arles, and is part of the collections of the Museum Für Moderne Kunst (Frankfurt) and LUMA Arles. Okoyomon received the Frieze Artist Award and the Chanel Next Art Prize.
