Laure Prouvost (Lille, 1978. Lives in Brussels) is an artist and filmmaker whose practice explores fragmented and poetic narratives, often blending fiction and reality. Through videos, immersive installations, tapestries, and found objects, she creates worlds that play with absurdity and failures of communication. Her work addresses desire, memory, and displacement, challenging linear storytelling. Winner of the Turner Prize in 2013, she has held solo exhibitions at Palais de Tokyo (Paris), M HKA (Antwerp), Kunsthalle Wien (Vienna), De Pont Museum (Tilburg), PHI Foundation (Montreal), Venice Biennale (2019) and Sydney Biennale (2020).
This participation is supported by Institut français within its IF
Incontournable program.
